Welcome to Singapore

And so here I am. Thousands of miles away from home, if such a place exists anymore. I'm still not quite sure how I ended up here. I'm still not sure what I am doing here. And I'm definitely not sure what will come out of this experience. One thing I am certain about is that it will be a terrific experience, one I will enjoy greatly and cherish fondly for a long time to come.

Singapore. The city (or rather city-state)(or the Republic of Singapore to be more exact) of mermaids, lions, merlions and lionaids. Population of almost 5 million. 85 miles north of equator, minutes south of Malaysia. By far the most tropical, the most humid and the craziest place I've ever lived in. Will it be the most enjoyable? The most diverse? The most unique? Only time will tell ...
